Valentina Apartment - Menaggio

We stayed 3 nights and had very lovely time. Beautifully maintained rooms with a view, had everything needed. We could enjoy views of the mountains.

The furniture had a touch of elegance and reminded me of the good old days. The general areas of the apartment were well-maintained and clean, making it easy for me to move around and feel comfortable. As a senior woman, I also appreciated the accessibility of the apartment. The doors were wide enough for me to easily pass through with my walker, and there were handrails in the bathroom that provided extra safety for me.

Just one thing I would have asked for a better vacation for senior people would be to have an elevator in the building. Climbing up the stairs to the third floor was quite a challenge for my aging legs.

The lady who greeted us was lovely and the location was great for exploring the area. We were able to park our car right across from the apartment, which was convenient. The apartment itself was newly painted and the size was just right for our three-day stay. The balcony had a lovely view, making it a nice spot to relax in the evenings.

There were a few issues that affected our stay. there was not enough bedding for the sofa bed, so my daughter was a bit cold.

We chose this place for wonderful location so close to the centre of Menaggio and the pier, and fair prices.

Humorous twist: The apartment gave me a great laugh with its incredible shower pressure! It was like standing under a mini-waterfall, or trying to resist the pull of a really enthusiastic vacuum cleaner! Definitely the most invigorating shower experience I've had in a while.

Minor issue: Shower pressure inconsistency.

The location here is amazing, just a short distance from Chiesa di San Carlo, and my experience was really great, I would definitely recommend it.

The apartment is conveniently located near the center of town and just a short walk away from the lake shore. It is also close to the old town and the local bus station, making it easy to explore the area. the rooms are spacious and come with all the necessary amenities, including a good shower. the balcony offers a pleasant view of the mountains.

Communication with the staff can be difficult as they do not speak English.

Convenient location for accessing nearby towns via ferry or the c10 bus. Really enjoyed being able to easily explore other areas. 🚌

Clean and well-equipped apartment, centrally located with great views of the lake and mountains. Convenient access to supermarket and city center. Hosts were friendly and accommodating, providing a travel crib for our baby. Perfect for families with small children.

I had a wonderful stay at Valentina Apartment! The location was perfect, with easy access to shops, the ferry, and the waterfront. The apartment itself was spacious and had everything I needed, including a small kitchen and a dining table. I especially enjoyed the convenience of having parking available nearby. I had a great experience and would highly recommend this place.

Great location, short walk to town center & supermarket. VERY quiet. Apartment is simple, comfortable, with a kitchenette, but no oven. Cozy inside. Perfect base for exploring Lake Como. Two-minute walk to beach/lido, main square, restaurants, and ferry port. Dated but clean apartment with good cooking facilities, including a microwave. Washing machine in bathroom. Nice veranda with hill views for breakfast. Free parking available. Lovely hostess who accommodated late arrival and effective communication in French. Pier, city center, and supermarket within walking distance. Free public parking, though limited during the day.

the place was spacious and had all the amenities we needed, including a washing machine and great heating for quick drying of our clothes. the kitchen was well-equipped and clean, making it easy for us to cook our meals. the location was perfect, with a bus stop from Como, a big supermarket, and the city center all nearby. We especially appreciated the kindness and helpfulness of Valentina, who checked us in and provided helpful recommendations for buying food and getting around the lake. the apartment itself was more modern than it appeared in the pictures, with a spacious bathroom and plenty of extra blankets and pillows for comfort. the view over the lake from the balcony was beautiful, even though part of it was obscured by the roof. we had a great experience. Cons: Couldn't find any faults at all! 🌟.
